I just did a firmware update, then I had my phone forget all my other Bluetooth connections and when I tried it it finally connected. I'm betting it was down-level firmware.
I'm finally able to send presets to the amp.

I'm pretty sure the presets are saved to my phone. I can close and reopen the Spark app and all the presets that I've downloaded show up in the Spark app. One issue I just noticed.
